I am webmaster to the Sixth Marine Division web site. Thank you for posting on our forum. My father-in-law was also in the 3rd Bn., he is now deceased. His name was James L. Young, Jr., most everyone remembers him as a very tall fellow from Texas. Your father can see some pictures of him on the scrapbook page at http://www.sixthmarinedivision.com/scrapbook.html. We welcome more photographs, but for now all I have to work with are my father-in-law's so he is in some of the pictures, and perhaps your dad may be too. I have just found some more photographs and will be putting them on the web site hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
