Eniwetok campaign- landing on Engebi

My buddy, Jack Wallace, was killed in this action, and was pictured in Life magazine of march13, 1944, being pulled fromwater by another Marine. Story in Life referedto a Captain Leon Goldberg. Seeking info from anyone that might have info about Jack. Thank you. once a Marine, always a Marine.
