This past summer in Virginia was particularly hot. The only thing I did this summer was spend more time in the nude outdoors. We have a very private property except that there is a gap in the trees where the driveway goes through. Still it's perfect for nude living.
My wife was out somewhere on this one summer day and I happened to be in the garage with the large door open. It's easy to know if someone is dropping in unannounced . You can hear the gravel crunching in plenty of time to grab your emergency shorts. On this day, however, there was no noise because the mailman had parked across the street and was bringing us something that had to be hand-delivered. The next thing I know is that I'm emerging from the garage in all my naked glory and I stopped dead in my tracks. At this point he and I may be ten feet apart.
All I could think to say was "well I guess I've been caught!" He didn't seem to care one bit. He just wanted to talk about the huge turtle in my creek. It's like he was thinking "heck, ya see one naked man on your route, you've seen them all". I took the package he had for me and then we talked about the creature in the creek. When we got to the bottom of my property I knew I had to be aware of cars passing by .... but none did. I waved good bye to the nice mailman, and I hope I had made his day in one way or another. I looked in the creek to find the turtle but he was gone. I just wonder what might have been if my wife was caught by him. Would it had ended the same way? She's might pretty when she's dressed in her birthday suit.
This little adventure changed the way I feel about "getting caught". And thanks to the mailman for being so cool.

I was running nude at night on a very rural road and a car crested a hill on an adjacent road in such a way that their headlights lit me up. I streaked into the woods lickety split! They slowed down for a moment, so I know they saw me, but I didn't interact with them.

Another time I was going out for a nude run while staying at my parents house in the country. My parent's bedroom is upstairs and I thought I could slip out unseen, but my mother wasn't feeling well and she called out to me to announce her presence. She knew that I liked to be nude, but until that night I don't think she knew I went for nude runs!

I have probably been a naturist at heart from the day I was born, but apart from nude swimming a few times, when I served in the Royal Air Force, I didn’t get the opportunity until I got married nearly 55years ago. I had slept nude since I was about 20 years old and now, I was often able to stay undressed until I went out. When I retired 30 years ago, I found that I was spending the whole day nude and for the first 6 years of retirement my wife was working, so it was almost inevitable that I would get caught out.

I had an office at the top of our 3 storey house and if the doorbell rang I didn’t have time to grab hold of any clothing before I rushed downstairs , as I knew that anyone delivering a parcel would not wait more than a few moments: I usually managed to keep my bottom half shielded by the door to accept a parcel, but sometimes I had to open the door fully: the delivery person seemed to hardly notice and was more concerned with rushing off for their next delivery.

On one occasion I was going around the house vacuum clearing, when the doorbell rang, which I decided to ignore, but it became more persistent accompanied by thumping of the door-knocker, so I gingerly opened the door to be greeted by my sister, who lived some distant away and happened to be visiting a friend in our street: she rather bossily told me to get dressed, but since then, if she stays with us or we visit her, she is not bothered in the slightest, when I appear nude first thing in the morning.

Whist, our back garden was not completely secluded, I was sure that I would know when our neighbours were out. However, one day I had been laying out in the sun and as I got up to go indoors, a voice said “Hello, Peter,” and there was Julie next door hanging out her washing. I apologised, but she said she wasn’t bothered and when I told her that I would be careful if her daughters were at home, she replied that they wouldn’t care, but I was still very cautious and I don’t think they ever saw me nude.

I used to audit the accounts for a friend, who was treasurer for a Girl Guides group and also her Old Girls School Association: Kate is not a close friend, but more than an acquaintance and I have known her and her husband for many years. She would telephone to ask if ,she could bring the books over to our house and I got fed up having to hang around dressed for her visit, so when she rung me one time , I told her that I usually go around nude and if it bothered her ,she should ring just before she was due to arrive ,otherwise she would find me nude: she gave the impression that she was definitely not sure what to do, so I waited on tenter-hooks most of the day for a phone call, when late in the afternoon the door bell rang and there was Kate with her accounts. She seemed unperturbed, as we stood in the kitchen chatting and for number of years afterwards, I remained nude when she brought over the books and collected them after audit.

I will bore you all with further encounters another time and our move to the country,when neighbours just appear!

My wife and I were out on the back deck laying out in the sun (our back yard has privacy fence, so no one can see from any angle) when suddenly the contractor we had hired to do some repairs on the house showed up unexpectedly to drop off materials before starting the next day. He opened the gate and came through to the back to put the materials there so they wouldn't get stolen as opposed to if left in the front yard. He spoke to us, just enough to say 'hi'.

A few years ago, I could be seen laying out on the back deck in the Google maps satellite view. It updates every couple years so I'm not there now.

I was walking on n abandoned highway when the rural mail carrier drove by. She looked but continued on her way.

Another time I was walking in a field in a conservation area when a small plane flew over. If they saw me, oh well.

Girlfriend and I were up in Canada fishing in a remote area. We tied up the boat to a tree on a small island on one of the lakes for a "break". Little did we know we were not alone. There were two other fishermen who floated on by while we were being passionate. My fiance never saw them, but I happened to glance at them out of the corner of my eye. I never told her, but it kind of added to the excitement of it all.

"A Wave, and a Smile" - your fiance might've given a wave too, if she had known.

...understand there wasn't a 'wave', but I am sure there was the Smile! A wave would have been fun.
