Since the message board has gone quiet for the last month I thought I would post about the highlight of my wife and I’s summer. We were able to break away on our vacation to the southeast in July for a two-night, midweek stay at Whitetail Resort in Virginia. We had visited with friends that live about 45 minutes from the resort so we figured we should take advantage of being in the neighborhood. We doubt if our friends know of its existence and didn’t divulge our plans as we are pretty sure they don’t share our mindset on social nudity.

We arrived on Tuesday afternoon and got checked in and took advantage of the outdoor pool. There was a chance of rain later in the evening but we held out as long as we could. We were looking forward to taking advantage of the onsite snack bar for dinner that evening, however, the storm that did finally arrive to the area dumped so much water that they had to shut down because the it was flooding the kitchen floor. I had to get dressed and go back to town to pick up some food to go. Wednesday was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the outdoor pool for the majority of the day. I took a couple of walks on their hiking trail, we also tried out the indoor pool, the sauna, and the hot tub in the evening. We were able to eat at the snack bar for lunch and dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.

When Thursday morning rolled around we dreaded the inevitable need to get dressed and hit the road back to the clothed world. I hope all of you had at least one opportunity to enjoy some nude time as well this summer.

I have had good summer. I have been to a nude venue about once a week all summer long.
I joined Lake O' the Woods Club in August. I am meeting a lot of nice people there.

We didn't get to go to LOTW as much as other years due to a very busy non-nudist summer :(

The highlight was probably our overnight stay. Bungalows get booked early; but we were lucky enough to get one at the last minute.
We got to sit on the pier and watch the sun go down while sipping on wine. A truly beautiful moment.
I do love overnight stays. After sleeping nude you just get to walk right outside, still naked, and enjoy the morning breeze.
