As we head into the final weekend of June, it may have happened earlier this week, it may be happening today, or may perhaps this weekend, but someone is celebrating her 4X-something birthday, hopefully in a style and manner that she is most comfortable and that she has chosen for herself.

Thank you for your birthday wishes! We had planned on a long weekend of camping, but the weather didn't cooperate, so we did a sort of staycation weekend at home instead and then just did a daytrip to our campground on the one non-rainy day. It was all still good. Lots of good fam time!

Rain camping can pose some challenges, but I have been on some church campouts that were memorable. It requires big tents, tarps over cooking areas and ponchos.
Swimming is out, sunbathing is out, but stories, card games (ever play UNO?), singing, fires (as long as you hang a tarp over it).
Still not convinced? If you are at a nudist place, you don't have to worry about wet clothes, just a poncho to keep the chilly rain off your back.

Or you can wait for better weather, maybe a Sunny Day? :)
