It's the professional men who play a different format from everyone else, and with a lower tin. That's no reason for anyone else to change.

yeah but midlander-you have to understand that the pro game is the pinnacle of the sport and so we should be striving to achieve their levels and so play the same format as them

Yes, it's the pinnacle of the game, they're very good, and that's why they play fewer points and with a lower tin than us mere mortals.

Still doesn't mean everyone should play that system, some of my league games would be over in 10 minutes!

Just like juniors don't start playing with a double yellow dot ball, use a scoring system that's appropriate for the standard, not 'one size fits all'.

(actually, I don't agree with that - I think there should be a standard scoring system, but I don't think PAR to 11 is it!).
