Re: Retired Liverpool Seafarers

Greetings,

I have found a website, which will be of interest
to the visitors of this forum; namely, the
Merseyside Maritime Museum @ URL:

http://www.nmgm.org/maritime/collections.asp

Our collections reflect the vitality and importance of the port of Liverpool and its role in world history.

At the museum you can see ship models, maritime paintings, wooden boats and maritime archives. Objects associated with nautical archaeology and the social and commercial history of the port are also on display.

I liked the Maggie May introduction, also the link to the Maritime Museum Liverpool. It is in the Albert dock. Pier Head.
I have visited the Museum many times. one can trace ancestors that left these lands to settle in the new world,Canada .USA. and the Colony's.
