My mom has cancer and can't cook, clean, drive, etc. She sits at home all day and stays in bed. I live in the home with her and my dad. My dad works about 50 hours a week and I work 40. Does anyone know if I could get paid for being her caretaker? It would be a fulltime job and she refuses to let anyone else come in and they can't afford it anyways. I have my own bills that I have to pay and I'm also buying a house within the next couple months but I'd still go to her house everyday. If anyone has advice I'd appreciate it. We live in Michigan if that helps.
