Job Title: Land Manager
Primary Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day land management activities of the program including supervision of staff, and management of shop facility. Specific responsibilities would include: maintenance of equipment and vehicles, operation of tractor for management activities, control of invasive exotic weeds, assisting in prescribed burning, maintenance of work trails, fire lines, and access points.
Experience/Qualifications: Ability to organize activities and equipment, and supervise staff a must. Experience in the use and routine maintenance of tractors, bulldozer, and other management equipment, knowledge of Florida plants, knowledge of invasive non-native species control techniques, an ability to lift heavy objects (>50lbs), and work in very hot and humid conditions.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
