Seeking Gardening/Elder Care Work; Offering IPCR Workshops

Greetings,

I would very much like to be working as a gardener and/or assisting elders with special needs in a caretaking environment while continuing to do outreach for The Interfaith Peacebuilding and Community Revitalization (IPCR) Initiative. If you visit the website of The IPCR Initiative (at http://www.ipcri.net), you will see-- in the IPCR Staff section-- that I have worked on organic farms (and had gardens of my own for many years), and that I was an activity director, companion, and transportation provider for elders with special needs (for about 7 years).

As a contribution to community building, my special skills include facilitating IPCR workshops. These IPCR workshops can assist in expanding the reach of goodwill for a small community, or assist in peacebuilding and community revitalization for communities with difficulties building common ground.

Here I will include the current outreach message for the IPCR Initiative:

[IPCR Outreach Message:

Greetings,

There are countless numbers of "things people can do in the everyday circumstances of their lives" which will contribute to peacebuilding and community revitalization efforts, in their own communities and regions— and in other parts of the world.

The Interfaith Peacebuilding and Community Revitalization (IPCR) Initiative

1) is a sincere effort to serve peacebuilders-- and the people they serve.
2) "... brings to the fore what is often hidden: how many good people there are, how many ways there are to do good, and how much happiness comes to those who extend help, as well as to those who receive it."
3) offers sufficient practical suggestions for people with good intentions to begin a Grassroots Peacebuilding Initiative anywhere in the world. (For more details, see “The Seven IPCR Concepts”, “Inspiring Role Models and Service Oriented Initiatives”, “The IPCR Key Word List”, and the “Four Examples…” sections of the IPCR website)

This message is my invitation to you to visit the IPCR website, at http://www.ipcri.net

Special Note: The IPCR Journal/Newsletter (Vol. 1 No. 3) Spring 2005 issue contains all the information provided by the IPCR website, and is available in a 14 page printer friendly format (pdf file).

I would also like to invite you to visit the IPCR Initiative Discussion Forum, at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ipcri/

End-- IPCR Outreach Message]

I am willing to move almost anywhere, if there was circumstances which included possibilities to be actively working at all three of the goals I have mentioned here.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

With Kind Regards,

Stefan Pasti, Outreach Coordinator
The IPCR Initiative
