Whilst perusing the Enigma website I was interested to note under "Technical - finishes" that "frames are mirror polished after construction and then the brushing begins". That seems to suggest that a mirror polished frame would involve less work than a brushed one. However, according to my understanding brushed is the standard finish whilst mirror polished costs £155 more. That seems illogical if the mirror polish involves less work. Am I missing something?

Re: Finishes
Hello John O,
The wording is not correct as far as our regular brushed finish is concerned, sorry. The weld areas are lightly brushed and polished to remove weld marks and then they are hand brushed. Mirror polishing involves preparing the frame with various grades of fine abrasive paper and then three stages of polishing, it is very labour intensive and dirty work but the results can be quite stunning.
