The Environmental, Control and Planning Agreement documents for the South Cecil Hills development are now on exhibition by Liverpool Council.

As you know Landcom and Mirvac want to develop the area that is to be known as South Cecil Hills and in doing so they want to drain and fill two lakes. Council is agreeance with this.

Not only are the lakes in question but many other things need to be discussed including roads, health, noise and transport.

The plans are available on the Councils web site or from the Councils office or the Liverpool library. We urge everybody to get hold of the document and view the contents. Submission must be placed before Council by 27 January 2010.

We believe the timing that Landcom picked to put this matter before Council may have been intentional. The Christmas period is not conducive for residents to write a submission to Council.

We are attempting to arrange a community meeting in the very near future so that people can be brought up to speed with this issue.

Please consider this issue and the future as we need to take the time to change a few things so that our future will be comfortable and without some of the things that are being suggested in this document.
