I am keen to support the saving of the lakes, but dont find this a particularly easy way of talking to people about the issues as I am a techno-phobe!

Didn't Landcom originally create/use these lakes for stormwater management to protect water quality in nearby Hinchinbrook Ck? As far as I can ascertain this stretch of Hinchinbrook Ck has to be one of the only natural freshwater creeks in fair condition left on the Liverpool-Fairfield part of the Cumberland Plain.

So what is Landcom and Council going to do to protect water quality in this part of the Goerges River catchment if they fill in lakes like these that capture and treat urban stormwater using natural means before it moves to natural creeklines?

I was out on site today with a group of school students, I noticed your signs for the first time.
I am disgusted with what Landcom is doing and council is condoning.
