9. Will all residents of Cecil Hills be kept advised of the progress of the development of Cecil Gardens that attract community interest.

10. We request a copy of the traffic study clarifying the impact of an extra 650 houses and development on existing local streets and a clear explanation on traffic management during peak school periods.

11. What are the safety zone implementations to be proposed.

12. We request a copy of the options paper stating the preferred position Landcom intends for the development of Cecil Gardens.

13. Whose decision is it to drain and build on these lakes and what is the rationale of building on open green space area.

14. Why did “Newsletter 1” dated 27 April 2009 not contain conformation that the lakes would be drained, therefore allowing the residents to be better inform and allow them to make an informed judgment if they attended the meeting or not.



15. APP consultants have refused to provide any information displayed at the consultation meeting on 6 May 2009 after being asked on numerous occasions to do so. This information is required now so that the community can view the information which will allow members of the community to make an informed judgment of the situation. We ask that APP Consultants provide this information immediately.

16. We ask Landcom for any information relating to any previous instances of lakes being drained and filled for housing development and the safety aspect after the development of the site.

17. Councilor Anne Stanly and Milan Marecic (Liverpool Council) have stated in the event that the ponds are to be retained by Council, an assessment has to be carried out on the structural adequateness of the lakes. Further consideration of the legal liability and future maintenance obligations also has to be considered as part of any decision that council may make regarding the future of the basins.

Why has Landcom not insured the lakes safety considering that the lakes have been here for the past thirteen years.

18. We ask that our lakes be included in the preservation of the nature reserve known as Hinchinbrook Corridor for the new development of Cecil Gardens.

19. Why did Landcom advertise lakes in their advertising material thirteen years ago and now argue that there are no bodies of water in any plans held by Landcom or Liverpool Council.
