Question about casual wear/interview wear for prelim
For a prelim, what should my daughter wear (she is 15)for casual wear? The rules say they have to wear the same outfit for the interview also. Any suggestions? What does everyone else wear? Sundresses or more casual? Thanks!Karen
Re: Question about casual wear/interview wear for prelim
I do not believe that the girls have to wear the same thing for interview and casual wear. You can check the rules posted on this website. (click on the "pageant info & forms" under the International dates) My daughter has competed in Cinderella for 7 years and has never worn the same thing for interview and casual wear.
I would reccommend a suit with a skirt or a nice tailored dress for interview. Something business like.
For casual wear many girls wear pant suits. Capri outfits or walking shorts are also appropriate. I would stay away from a dress for casual wear if you can and go for someting more fitted.
Re: Re: Question about casual wear/interview wear for prelim
Please check with your local director regarding specific guidelines for your pageant. Sometimes, because of time constraints, the director may ask that the same outfit be used so as not to have to build in time for a garment change. (As an example.) On the international level of competition, a typical Teen interview outfit my be a tailored suit or dress.
