Dear J. David,

Greetings and shalom to you and your household and also to those with whom you gather. From our household to yours, we bid you Christ's indwelling peace made available to those whom obey the very pattern Jesus thus established and demonstrated. We are pleased to hear from you and filled with joy about your desire, search and inquiry.

If you want to be truly anointed of God then you must follow the teachings of Christ Jesus alone and obey His Word. Know that your obedience is the fruit of your love and not the means to salvation. To do that you must read and dwell in His Word (New Testament KJV). Jesus calls you to become a disciple and follow after Him alone - not to become a man of religion. The icons of so-called faith that many hoard to themselves are silly and childish and will teach you nothing of God's grace nor will they lead you towards obedience to His Word.

If your born-again experience is real, you will reject and foresake all such nonsense and become a God fearing man by studying and applying yourself to His teachings as a faithful son to God. Do not follow the ways of man nor become part-taker in man's divisive religious virtue. You must learn that faith is what holds the power of God's grace and His Holy Spirit is what releases that power upon you and through you to do the mighty works of God. You must believe as the Apostles believed and learn to walk as they did in an unbelieving world. If your repentance is sincere and genuine then God may grant you wisdom, discernment and the power to make a difference in other peoples lives. But this is a matter between you and God and it requires your unwavering committment to follow Christ and be faithful in love. We all have much to learn regarding the manifold greatness of God and His desire for our lives. If you are faithful with the little things in life then God will make you responsible for greater things because you are faithful.

As you learn to keep His Word, His Word will keep you and protect you and watch over you and keep you from certain harm but you are also promised to suffer much because you are learning to become faithful with God's Word. Do not follow the ways of the Catholic Church for they are evil. Do not follow the ways of the Protestant Church for they are rebellious. Do not not follow the ways of the Jews for they deny that Christ Jesus is the Messiah. Instead, learn to follow the ways of God by studying His Word and learn to walk according to the pattern and teachings of Christ Jesus. Be selfless as Christ was selfless instead of selfish as are most religious people selfish in all their desires. Be as Christ was and is and avoid the leaven of the Pharisees which is hypocrisy. Be a son unto God rather than a preacher or ordained minister who takes the peoples money and spends it on his own selfish pleasures. Rather than seeking the powers of God, seek the weakness of God and become empowered with His grace. Be humble in all your ways and do not be over zealous towards others. Be careful not to outwardly offend others but realize that Christ is an offense and rock of stumbling to the religious minded. So if at all possible be at peace with your fellow man and learn to forgive his offenses towards you. These are the virtues and things that lead to godliness. These are the things that you need more than anointing oil, prayer cloths or temple worship. Be Holy therefore as your Heavenly Father is Holy and do not do as the religious hypocrites do but be faithful and humble and God will exalt you to the highest places of faith in His Kingdom.

I pray that your experience was a legitimate one and that your submission and surrender unto God is genuine. Be not a seeker of men who appear to be godly but rather be a witness and testimony of godliness in flesh as Christ has so demonstrated. For we who live this way are the redeemed, the chosen children, the Church of Christ. I pray that you will decrease of yourself more and more that Christ may increase in you all the more. Share freely what He freely has shared and recognize the selfless pattern He demonstrated so that you may avoid the many divisive and selfish schemes of religious men who think only of themselves.
