Subject: A WORD from Nicholas on the Spirit of Giving
Date: Dec 23, 2005 1:20 PM

Here is the "word" from Nicholas on giving. Pass this on to your loved
ones. Its deep and profound because it is the TRUTH!

If everyone on the planet,
that is, every living person,
gave something of great value
to the next person
closest to them...

Then quite naturally, every living
person on the planet would receive
something of great value.

This then is the will of God, as He
gave us His only Son, so too should we
be willing to give up what we hold so precious
and dear. In our giving of that which holds the most
value, when others receive it, they shall receive an
an abundance and bless you for it.

This therefore goes to show that it is not in God's will
that we desire only to get or receive, take or keep for
ourselves because it will do us no good after we're gone.

Can you spend it?
Can you stash it?
Can you take it with you?

No, you can't if your not here to enjoy all your wealth
so what good did all your storehouse of mammon serve?

Better it is to give liberally and share with others as you receive it.
Give to those who serve you well and hold not from their needs.
Give to the poor too for in your giving to others who can give
nothing back in return, you are so blessed because you considered
another persons needs moreso than your own.

He who gives much also receives back so
much more because in God's view,
"giving is receiving."

So the message is this... Rather than squander your treasure chest
of wealth spending it on yourselves all the time, give to others as freely and
liberally as God has given you. Do this without expectation. Those who
served you well will still serve you well and those whom were to poor to ever
share much will bless you and receive you into their ever lasting habitations
because you regarded their need moreso than your own.

Give. Give freely and liberally. Give of yourselves and as you give,
so also shall you receive in abundence, poured out as a blessing to all
who share in the struggles and suffering of life. This is the cup that
over-runneth.

Jesus said to His Disciples,
"Drink this in rememberance of me."

Rejoice for this is the Spirit of Giving!

In Christ's love,
Nicholas
