Hi Elmer... We started renting only Penske trucks which are the best after our problem with Budget. This incident was due to very cold weather not mechanics. Diesel engines have trouble starting when it gets below 0. I learned on this trip that you can keep the truck running all night which is what we did after getting a new truck the next night. We aren't going to buy a truck because we prefer to fly to the location and they haven't figured out how to strap a truck to the bottom of the plane yet.
Got home safely without any other incidents Sunday night!
Now we have three other long distance collections to get of which I think at least one we will fedex back.
As long as we keep buying collections and make our customers happy with great buys, we will put up with the problems we encounter in getting them here! Not much fun but someone has to do it! Makes this almost like work!
