Last night, auction #108361, I entered the same bid as the declared winner, $32.33, but lost the auction. From the time stamps, both of us entered a bid in the last minute after no bid had been entered for the previous 31 hours. It appears that I entered the unusual bid of $32.33 before the declared winner. It is beyond belief that another bidder would have entered a bid of the identical amount, to the odd penny, at essentially the same time as I did. He won; I lost. The winner should have had to bid higher than I did to take the item. My faith in the fairness of the bidding system is challenged by these events, particularly because of the odd 33 cents coincidence.
