We have recently changed most of our auctions from 7 day auctions to 13 day auctions. We have changed for two reasons.
1) We are open for business generally Monday through Friday. With 13 day auctions if we start them within that time period auctions will end on Sunday night through Thursday night. Thus they fit perfectly into our schedule. There won't be the lag between Friday auctions closing and processing on Monday. Now auctions will close on Sunday and be processed on Monday.
2) We felt that extra auction length would give the auctions more exposure which is good for everyone.
You may still use buy-it-now to end the auctions immediately as long as there are no bids.
Finally we have reason for auction length which is what we have been trying to accomplish.
