This site was down from around 8PM Saturday EST to around 1:30 PM EST Sunday. We are very sorry for this inconvenience. We lost a database and had to replace it with a two day old backup. Thus this may cause some problems with bidding and other matters pertaining to time. Our policies for down time is the following to protect sellers and bidders using this site:
If the site goes down due to technical reasons of no fault to anyone, sellers have the right to accept or not accept ending bids. Due to the fact that it is possible that auctions could end not allowing bidders to bid during the down time sellers have the option of accepting the ending bids or re-auctioning the items at no cost to themselves.
traincity will re-auction items that are affected by the downtime.
It is possible you will receive extra winning confirmations or winning confirmations that will be rejected by the seller.
We are truly sorry for this inconvenience. There could be some data and auction ending problems that will occur with this. Hopefully this won't happen again in the future.
