I have a Mar Line train set and can find no information about it. It is an HO scale, the
engine is black and it's number is 999. There are
five cars, all tin and each one is marked with
the Mar Line name in small letters. Also, it was made in the USA. I believe it was associated with
the NY area because each car represents an area of
NY. Would appreciate any help. thank you!!
Hi. With engine 999 and tin cars, I suspect that your set is not HO scale, but Marx O gauge. Three rail track right? Are the cars with 4 wheels or 8 wheels?
Your set would date from about 1945 through 1960 or so. If you provide car #'s names, I can probably narrow down the time frame.
