I have some items that were passed to me by my dad. They have been boxed in a garage for 40 years and my daughters aren't interested in them. Some pieces were damaged in a fire but many are still in good shape.
The problem is that I am on the west coast (California) and I can't seem to find stores and collector's of postwar items like what is out on the east coast. Does anyone know of anyone out in California. I am a little nervous about shipping them out without a purchase agreement.
Also, I have a 2222WS set from 1954 in the original boxes (and master carton). The 2530 is the large door version which I am told is a little rare. I am getting conflicting info about this set. Is there a market for this?
