I have a train 'set' I need to sell. I have all the wrappers, boxes, papers, the shipping box etc. The train was a christmas present in 1952/53? The instruction book is 1952, the train catalog is 1957. It's been in the basement since then. I have the list of parts.
I've got a 477/478,925,930,931,940,942,960,961,963,a 283 4-6-2, a772 water tower, switches, a whistle, uncouplers, track, clips, etc.
What do I do with this?
Do I clean it? All the decals are perfect except for the engine - part of Silver is scratched.
I don't know anything about trains. I don't know anything about the dealers or auctions.
Don't do anything to it, leave that to the buyer. Are you taking offers? I would be interested in purchasing if still available. I would just need a better desription of the condition and the exact pieces included. Thanks
