I was sent a java script from a web ring that I joined. When I add the script to my webpage it show up with just a little picture saying "Embeded Script". When create a local htm file and with the script in it, it works just fine. Anyone know why this won't work?

I looked at your web site and see the web ring at the bottom of the page, and it appears to be working fine.

Web page editors are generally not intended to run your Javascripts. That's why they usually have a preview capability. The "Embedded Script" marker is just to let you know that a script is there, and helps prevent you from accidentally deleting it.
