Frederick Bulstrode Lawson Whitlock was my great grandfather. Apparently there is an island off the north coast of Australia named Whitlock Island after him for his work in Australia in the study of birds.

He had a daughter Gwen (who married someone by the name of Bird or Byrd - ironic - and lived in Australia) and a son, Charles Frederick Bulstrode Whitlock (my grandfather) who lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina. My grandfather worked for the British railroad throught South America. He married Florece Abigail MacKney and settled in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Their children were my father, Charles Frederick Bulstrode Whitlock Jr. and Daphne Whitlock (who married Eppenstein).

My father married Mary Margaret Holden and had three children, Mary Elizabeth Lorraine Whitlock (married Estevez) born in England, Carol Anne Rosalie Whitlock (single) born in Argentina, and me, Valerie Margaret Claire Whitlock (married Coulas) born in Uruguay. Lorraine and Carol live in Uruguay while I live in Canada. Lorraine has two daughters and I have two daughters and a son.

Daphne Whitlock married in Argentina and had four children, Marina, Cecilia, Pablo and Diego. They all live in Argentina.
