Re: How do you get more LINKS PAGES, on the one domain?!
Presence on a search engine doesn't happen over night and registering doesn't change that. As I pointed out in another discussion, search engines do not search the internet, they search their data bases. Until your site is indexed by a search engine, it will not be found.
Although it's not what I did, it's common for designers to submit their site to several search engines. This puts their site on a list for the search engine to index. It took several months for my site to start showing up, and several more to show up with a good ranking. In the end, all sites will be found and indexed, whether you have meta tags, or not. But submission and meta tags move the process along faster. Most people are a little more anxious about it then I am. My site is now linked to on other similar sites, referenced in forum discussions, and has a lot of targeted content.
A handy tool is a good stat counter. I use a stat counter from AddFreeStats.com. This allows me to see all my visitors, where they are from, how they got to my site, how long they were there, and what pages they visited while they were there. It's very interesting to see visitors that found your site with a search engine. By following the search link, you can see what keywords were used to find your site. This can help you adjust your content and meta tags, so that your site has better presence.
