How do you get more LINKS PAGES, on the one domain?!
Dear people at Bravenet,
I have looked everywhere on the Faqs and forums to find an answer to this problem, to no avail.
I am at the moment, on the basic Bravenet hosting package, and am hoping to upgrade soon.
Now, I witnessed the maximum number of link pages you can have on one sub domain is about '7'.
Eg. for the "Home","History","About Us".
What I want to do is, make of plenty MORE pages to link to - within the 'same' sub domain server - but I don't want them to show up on the left of site, as links, eg. "Home" etc.
Why is there a limit to how many pages you can do on the same server on one sub domain, and how do I get to create more on the same domain?
In the meantime, I've done something rather silly to make more pages.
I've created a SECOND sub domain just to make more pages to link to on the first sub domain / website.
Yet when I upgrade, I don't want to register this second sub domain as a site too!
& if I don't, and it links to this second website, there'll be adverts on it, and not on the first sub domain.
Do you understand!?
Please advise, I need this information desperately as I'm under a tight deadline.

The seven page limit has nothing to do with the server or your level of hosting. The limitation is part of the Website Wizard Theme based designer. There is also a Layout based Wizard that poses no page limitation, but is not as nice as the Theme based wizard. There is no effective limit on how many pages you can have or how they are linked, on a free or paid hosting site. The limitation is in the tools that you use.
The Website Wizards are intended for users who don't know, or don't want to know, anything about HTML/CSS. There is nothing wrong with using them. Everyone should be able to create a web site, but not everyone knows how. But if you do use the Wizards, you need to be aware of their limitations. And realize that the Wizards were never intended for large web sites. For larger more complicated web sites, you should be getting your own web page design tools and designing off-line.
Don't worry about needing to registering multiple subdomains. Once you have registered for a domain and paid hosting, you can have as many sub-domains as you want, at no extra charge.

Presence on a search engine doesn't happen over night and registering doesn't change that. As I pointed out in another discussion, search engines do not search the internet, they search their data bases. Until your site is indexed by a search engine, it will not be found.
Although it's not what I did, it's common for designers to submit their site to several search engines. This puts their site on a list for the search engine to index. It took several months for my site to start showing up, and several more to show up with a good ranking. In the end, all sites will be found and indexed, whether you have meta tags, or not. But submission and meta tags move the process along faster. Most people are a little more anxious about it then I am. My site is now linked to on other similar sites, referenced in forum discussions, and has a lot of targeted content.
A handy tool is a good stat counter. I use a stat counter from AddFreeStats.com. This allows me to see all my visitors, where they are from, how they got to my site, how long they were there, and what pages they visited while they were there. It's very interesting to see visitors that found your site with a search engine. By following the search link, you can see what keywords were used to find your site. This can help you adjust your content and meta tags, so that your site has better presence.
