Why can't I add HTML

I keep trying to put counters and the horacopes, but the code isn't working. When I paste it it just puts the code instead. I make graphics for a living so I know HTML.

go back there to get the Html and Hig light it. With out clicking anything, see if everything is highlighted. then copy it, and past it to your sight. If that dousnt work...I tried

Some of Bravenet html codes have Java in it & won't work where only html is allowed. I can't even add them to my eBay page.
