It's only visible in Internet Exploder, Mozilla shows only a slightly expanded middle section.
The cause is the long horizontal picture, and mostly the spaces you have put after the picture at the bottom of the page. Remove those spaces, and the middle section will "shrink". And if you remove the picture, the middle section can resize better - but that is not really obligatory.

Hi there,
I need help with my site.
First it was okay.Today I made
some changes and something went wrong.
please check it at:
www.feelgoodstories.com
click on:good deeds
and you will see that the middle part
has stretched over to the right side.
I don't know what happened???
Any idea how to fix this???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Jim for your time.
But whatever I am doing is not working.
something got's to be wrong somewhere but
I tried to delete the pictures and it did not
change a thing.
I insist, delete the pictures and the spaces you put around them. here is the same pages without the images and the spaces, so you can compare.
But that wasn't all indeed. After I removed the following too (it's near the top of your page) the page resized a lot better:
It doesn't do anything, I think it's the result of a lot of copying and pasting from Word, correct? I've seen quite some other rubbish code from Word making your code a lot bulkier than it really should.
