Jan 3, 10 am, 1st NC Battalion Annual Meeting, Old Orange County Courthouse, 106 E. King St. Hillsborough, NC United States 27278. Directions: From Interstate 85, take Exit 164 and go north on Churton Street. The Hillsborough Historic District is one mile north. The Old Courthouse will be on your right, in the southeast quadrant of the intersection of Churton and King Street. Parking is scarce when court is in session, but there are public lots near the visitor's center, two blocks east of Churton. Wear uniforms and belts but NO weapons.

Feb 7, 28th NCT Annual Meeting, ATTENTION! The annual business meeting of the 28th NC Troops is fast approaching! The meeting will be held on Saturday, February 7, at the Windsor's Crossroads Community Center, 5101 Windsor Road, Hamptonville, NC 27020. We will begin with a pancake and sausage breakfast at 8am, break for lunch midday, and hope to be done by 3 pm. Directions to the Community Center: from I77 Exit 73B in Yadkin Co., take US Hwy 421 North, to the Windsor Road Exit, at the top of the exit, turn left, travel 5 miles to 5101 Windsor Rd, the center will be on your right. If you reach the stop sign at Buck Shoals Rd, you missed it, look over your right shoulder!

Feb 14, Lee-Jackson Banquet, 6 pm, Windsor's Crossroads Community Center, 5101 Windsor Road, Hamptonville, NC 27020. Period dress welcome but not required. A soup and dessert buffet is planned, perfect for this time of year! Please come out, enjoy the period music and good food! An entertaining auction will be held to support the projects of the Yadkin Gray Eagles Camp 1765, SCV.
