I wanted to let you know that after much discussion and consideration, Dennis and I have decided to skip Allison Woods for 2012. Due to the economy, funding is not coming in as we had hoped. At this point registrations are down. It is still early, but a good time to make the decision. Alot of folks will be attending other events which will impact the event as well as the amount of manpower we will have on hand to help with the prep and execution of all of the things that need to be accomplished. With all of this in mind it would not really be fair to any of us to try to put on the event this year.
Please pass this information along to folks that you think may have planned to attend this year's event.
The Civil War Tactical in October will continue. This should prove to be a good and fun event for the reenactors.
