This one is not on our calendar, but is a local event in Jonesville, Yadkin County, at Lila Swaim Park.
Judy Wolf, the event coordinator, has requested reenactors to fire volleys for the opening cermeony at 10:00. and are invited to stay as long as we wish afterwards.
It is a one day only local heritage event, and I have been asked to present a program at the senior centor later that morning.
If you can just spare a couple of hours to help with this, it would be much appreciated. Please be there around 9:30 to prepare for the ceremony.
It is hoped to field at 8 "rifles" for this.

So far we have Cpl. Hine, Cpl Reynolds, Prov. Myers, and Lt. Cheek. Need more rifles.

Just spoke with Captain Siemers of the 38th NCT. They may have a few soldiers that can help as well.

It appears that the weather may actually cooperate with us on Saturday.

We were few in numbers today, but the volleys were superb. The last volley was so good that it sounded like only one rifle fired. Pvt. Cheek was there to play taps as well. It was a quality show of support for a local heritage event.
