1862 will be a busy year, so we need to pace ourselves. We have some tough choices, but really need to prioirtize and stick to it, or else we will go into "burnout" before we get to Maryland.
Here is the information for the Latta Plantation event for 2012, copied from an e-mail from Matthew Waisner, Events Coordinator at Latta:
The Civil War Reenactment for 2012 will be April 20-22. This is the only month that would work with our schedule as well as the 150th schedule. There is also an event here May 19th and 20th recreating the Muster of the 53rd NC Company B Mecklenburg Greys. This is going to be a big event and I hope you all can make it out.

The 150th Anniversary of the Fall of Fort Macon may also be the weekend of April 21st and 22nd.
And on a related note, registration opened yesterday for "Lee Takes Command", the Seven Days Battle (reenactment of the battles of Gaines Mill, Seven Pines, and Glendale). The event will be held on a 200 acre estate in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, on June 16th and 17th. Go to http://www.leetakescommand.com/ for more information.

Registration opens up later this month. The event is Sept 8-9, 2012.
We need to get this in soon since total ANV registration will be limited to 600 total.
