AMEN!! all of this is due to welfare. instead of getting paid to work, a lot of the folks in the ninth ward stand on the corner all day waiting for their next government hand out. the people in southwest louisiana don't ask for handouts. all they ask is for the government to get out of their way so they can help themselves and their neighbors. instead of the politicians standing up for what is right, they stand up for whoever yells the loudest. thank you lyndon johnson, ted kennedy and all the folks like you. good luck to the people of southwest louisiana and all of the small communities in the new orleans area. these are true lousianaians. hard working, god fearing honest people. the national news programs should interview some of these people, then they would see the real louisiana.
