I was a good friend of Harris on Guadalcanal, Okinawa, Guam and in Tsingtao, China. He had fought with a Jasco outfit and I was in a survey section, H&S Battery, 1st Batallion, 15th Marines. We shared a Jewish heritage. After the war, I remember visiting him in Philadelphia...but sadly we drifted apart. Bob Wanderman
