Two towers, the twins, looking over the river no more. The skyline forever changed. Sadness, grief, yet ... strangely compared to visions of turmoil overseas, we are drawn, inexplicably to help. To donate our blood for those who lost. To give more of our selves. The diligent search for survivors, but no panic in the streets. A calm, collected society we seem to be. To view the horror as if it wasn't. To help because it is. Reasonable people dealing with the unreasonable. Change, yet... no changes to plans. Americans are resilient. People are resilient. While prevention may not have been an option, perseverance is the goal. Praise God for our country. We will not give up the fight for life, liberty, and justice for all.
