Re: Sporadic loss of streaming consciousness

Rumbling winds remove all fear of reprisal and causes respite during this bizzare week. At least the hurricane, that sends us the remainder of the missing rain we needed, is protecting our shores against misintended smelly socks and rumpled buildings. Wanting to remove the onus of something we cannot change or the heaviness of friends lost, cancer in the blood, phones out in New York where families try to reach out and touch someone, we would like to have it go back to normal and it wont be that way for a time. . . an unknown time. True winds of change sweep our shores and hopefully will cleanse the thrall of dust, death and twisted steal.

Twas brillig, and the slythy toves... Only the second most famous twas poem in history, IMHO (number one is the reindeer, to be sure). But wherefore 'twas now? Canst be b'cause of lack o' ink? Nay, methinks twas ne'er was, and ne'er mo' to be. Fo' what lack of yon word, alas, apostrophe. Sho', thou dost use and misuse the "it's" as possessive, ne'er realizing the missive as "its" and "hers" and "his" again to not use the mark to indicate it. 'Tis again and now 'twas and apostrophes no more. But then it comes to use the mark to make the move for plural? Thou must not be just the nut, but also be the squirrel! What for dost thou say "banana's, their only $1.50 per pound." argh! The scream of English teachers spinning under ground. And if the nagging doth sound like inanity and its drummings, perhaps then, we all shall write as the one ... e e cummings
