The movie was based on an excecution that occured a few hundred years ago for crimes that had been committed. Vincent Price was one of the criminals and he was beheaded (shown in the flashbacks). The movie takes place present day with people living in a house near the site of where the executions. The people are led to the area where the executions occured by falling into a trance when holding a "Stick" (I forget the actual name of the tool) but it would guide them to the location. As i can recall, at the end of the movie Vincent Price put's is head back returning to life to kill again. Can anyone help with this title?? Thank you.

I guess it is Haunted Palace. It sounds like that. But I'm not quite sure.
