Re: Question for the Major

Thats not even close to an answer, compared to my other posting these are sensible questions the least you can do is give a reasonable answer. You would seem to want to be seen as guilty, not the action of an officer and a gentleman. what was you in the army (if you actually were) a tea boy.

Re: Question for the Major

What I meant by where did he get the fish was did he aquire it legally or did he steal it or buy stolen goods. I should have explained it better because the fact that it came from Paris (which I already knew) tells me nothing. Its of no importance to me anymore as I have more important fish to fry.

Re: Question for the Major

Evening! Well as was previous explained, and I am sure you all know by now, I received the fish in Paris when I was based there in the Army. This was a gift from Lord Fitzharold, who was a good friend of mine you know, and it was quite valuable I believe. All those rubies... It is a pity it has been stolen, but well, what can you expect, with MURDER about anything can happen, not like in my day you know. Would never happen. Too much discipline. That is what young people need today, discipline. Like you have in the Army. Bring back National service I say. Oh, where was I, oh yes , the fish. Well when I returned from the Army, now what year was that, it is on the tip of my tongue....... No, its gone.....Anyway when I returned from the army I bought a small flat, well not much point in purchasing a large house with only myself and my cat and with heating charges what they are nowadays. Not like when I was younger, no. Anyway when I got the flat there was not much room to display all my artifacts so I stored them away. When I came to this club, oh, many moons ago, I saw Cazzie was starting this collection of jewelled animals. Lovely I thought, bit of class. I told her about my fish and she was delighted and asked to see it. Of course, it took me a while to dig it out, but when I did, she was delighted. I decided there and then to donate this fish to her, I mean, what could I do with it, it was only stored. It has been on display ever since and I believe appreciated, as it should be. Poor old Lord Fitzharold would have turned in his grave if he had seen it stored in that box Although I believe once it was stored in a box, but that was a long time ago it was when I was in the Army on the...........(Edited down)

Re: Question for the Major

Have you ever donated any other items to the casino? And do you know of any connection between the fish and either the jewel that Cazzie was holding when she was found or the horse that got damaged?

Re: Question for the Major

Evening again. I am getting popular! Never had this much attention for, oh, years, not since my days in training.... Well, unfortunately I never had any other opportunity to own such an item, not by choice of course I would have loved to own some of the jewelled animals Cassie owned. Sad my donation has gone missing, really sad. So unfortunately I have never donated anything else to Cassie or the Casino. Because of this I dont believe there is any connection between the horse and the fish. Except, of course that they were both valuable and beutiful to look at. The jewel that Cassie was holding????? I did not know she was holding a jewel? What was it like? I wonder if it was like that jewel that I saw in Berlin when I was travelling, oh a long time ago that was. A big sapphire, big as your hand. Beutiful it was. This was of course when I was in the Army so it did not have much time to look but (Edited)

Re: Question for the Major

You mentioned that the fish was a Christian symbol. What exactly does the fish represent and did the Reverend know that this was potentially a religious artifact?

Re: Question for the Major

I dont know. I dont think the Reverend actually noticed it was a religious artifact, but then again you would have had to know that wouldnt you. I mean, I didnt, I had to be told. Now who was it that told me. Ah yes it was Colonal Sebastian when I was in the Army in the 5th.........
