Message:		The main driving force and creative energy behind defunct Belfast outfit, Watercress, Dan's solo show was as individually original and quirky as the musical landscape he explored during his pre-Christmas appearance at the Rotterdam. Amid some tasty acoustic playing, Dan used the special effects on his fav pedal, hitting some great background atmospherics. AS ever, his keen observations on the world around us did not miss and hit the wall, finishing, as he did, with as brilliant a piece of musical satire/comedy as I've heard, in the shape of his song which took the Mickey out of David Gray. Not only were his words carefully and thoughtfully chosen, but his delivery was just hysterical. He got Gray's shakey head and misery-laden vocals to a tee! Come back soon Dan, Great show!
