Haha, got your e-mail . . . and I've never seen Sleepy Hollow but don't start worrying yet! I read the script last night and I THINK I know what you're talking about. Maybe. If it's not too much trouble to ask, could you send me the stuff that Melanie was reading in the ledger? It might help me help you (if you follow me) a little bit. But I'll send you an e-mail to tell you my full thoughts on it SO FAR.
LOL, I know exactly what you mean about the characters driving you out of your skull sometimes (no pun intended, seeing as how we were just talking about Sleepy Hollow). Another favorite time-waster I love is art, and I was working on concept art for my characters and locations (Mom thinks I should be a conceptual designer for movies . . . something I've considered). While I love doing that, it makes me feel extra guilty when I open up my sketch pad and Alexander Cadwell's steely eyes are glaring back up at me, begging me to lead him further into his adventure. One time I was like, "WOULD YOU STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT?!!?" and slammed the sketch pad shut. It made me feel better, lol Although I was wondering if I got too far into my character, sorta like Mort did in Secret Window. Although thankfully my character isn't some murderous cow farmer from Mississippi—he's an ordinary kid that saves the world . . . hmmm, maybe I SHOULD let him into my head, buahahaha . . . okay, just kidding. I'll try to stop scaring you, honest.
Wow, someone thinks I'm awesome. I DO have fans out there somewhere. You're pretty awesome yourself . . . one of my favorite people ever, I'd think! |
