W.W.Biggs(Bill)(my dad)(1910-1985)wrote this about his dad and grandfather."My father Frank E.Biggs spoke of his father William Green Biggs and grandfather of being from Ireland.After they came from to the U.S. they went to Illinois and became cowboys,some became buthers,or cattle skinners.My grandfather William Green Biggs took his wife and went south into N.Ark.around Tuman,then to Marked Tree,Ark.near St.Francis swamp.My dad(Frank E Biggs)the oldest of 6 children,married Alice Swartz in Jonesboro,La 1909. His brothers were William Earl,Lem,John,twin boys who died at an erly age,and three sisters(names unknown).My grandfather,died in 1921,built a hunting camp on the St.Francis River,there was a railroad,though Marked Tree,Ark on into Memphis,Tenn.My uncles and grandfather would kill turkeys and deer and ship them to market in Memphis.Please any info on Frank E Biggs(my grandfather)and his wife(Alice) or brothers would be very much appreicated!!
