I'm not actually researching Briggs, but am looking for a past friend,-of fifty years ago,- who married into the Briggs family and believe went to live in Royal Leamington Spa. Maybe she married one of the sons you mention, or one of their sons? Her name was Anna Wright from Birmingham, and her father was a Churh of England minister. I am looking for info on my great-grandfather, James Henry Biggs. b 1847 d 1946 buried in Dover, Stewart Co., TN. He married sisters: (1st wife) Virgie Owens, b 1877 d 1897 married in 1894; (2nd) Lucy B. Owens, b 1868 d 1940 had 5 children: James Earl, Fred, Alma, Ruebin Harold, & a daughter who was killed by gunshot as a child. They are all buried in Dover, Stewart Co., TN. If there's a connection I'd love to share info. If not, anything that you may have run across in your search would be appreciated.
