cleaning / polishing Enigma frames
I'm sure I've seen someone ask this before, but I can't find the thread... What's the best thing to use to get an Enigma Ti frame looking nice again? Something that will bring out a nice sheen without stripping the decals off... |

WD40 worked well for me. Not so much of a problem with my new frame though ;) |

Baby Oil also I think Jim once recommended JIF - or CIF, or whatever they're calling it this week...

For my Effusion I try and keep it as simple as possible. I.e. water and elbow grease. Because I have an Effusion I am simply trying to avoid introducing any solvents or hydrocarbons, which may have a detrimental impact on the carbon elements of the frame or forks. The water may temporary stain the frame, but I am quite happy to live with that. |

Hi, I took Jim/Mark's advice and use Cif with water and cloth, dry off then apply a thin layer of baby oil then polish to leave nice and shiny, it works a treat.

Thanks for these tips guys, but what do you use to clean the drivetrain? Is Muc-Off OK? |

CIF with baby oil it is then! One of the great things about a full Ti frame is not having to worry about chips or abrasions... |
