Bike storage
While I'm counting down the days to the arrival of my Etape, my mind is preoccupied by thoughts of storage. At the moment I've got three bikes shoe-horned into a shed that really isn't big enough for two. And in Jan I'll have another one to house. Was thinking about getting one of these: http://tinyurl.com/2evozs Can I ask if anyone's had any experience of them? Or if anyone's got a better idea? (apart from the obvious 'keep it in the house' solution. I've suggested that to my wife and she's not keen for some reason). |

I simply find that removing pedals before storage appears to give you more space. |

I've got one of these. It's fine and holds two bikes with ease but is not very secure unless you fix it to the ground. Also, it offer padlock fixings but as the handles are alloy they can be cut with ease. This never worried me and I would buy another. The easy way to secure a bike is a good chain through a bucket of concrete, you could have this inside the store. |

HI My advise would be to move to Australia where we have back yards big enough for proper garages where you can store 50 bikes, 2 cars, swing a whole litter of cats, and even have a spare bed when owning 50 bikes get you into a heap of hot water with "Her indoors"
