my new frame

firstly i would like to say that although my name is Michael Porter i have no association with Enigma or Omega or the Michael Porter on the vicar of Dibley!!!!!

I Took delivery of my new Enigma effusion frame in early December WOW it firstly it was a dream to build up all of the frame tappings were perfect. The seat pin slips in perfectly ,the bottom bracket threads are the best i have come accross .Beleave me i have had a few bike frames in my time some might call me a bit of a bike tart!

I went for the full custom service and the frame is a perfect fit .I have got carbon bikes alloy bikes and an old steel Raleigh Ilkeston ,the frame although very stiff as you need for a racing bike is very comfortable and not to heavy.
if i find out how i will post a picture of my new baby !! any questions i will be glad to answer remember i am a customer and have nothing to gain from good or bad feed back

Re: my new frame

Did you get forks with your frame?
Also, how long did it take from design to delivery?

Re: my new frame

yes i got look hsc 5 fooks with my frame although the Enigma forks look very good i like more of a straight blade to my forks.

It took about eight weeks to come they did say about six weeks but from the other side of the world where they come from two weeks extra i do not think is to bad

Re: my new frame

Thnx Michael,

I was just wondering if I should be cheeky and try and get Enigma to throw in a pair of forks

8 weeks for a custom is pretty good. I know a few people who had to wait 12 months for their Dave Hinde.... Oops, I shouldn't mention names.

Are you still as happy with your Effusion?
I hope so cos I'm hoping to order mine tomorrow after I hear from MR on my final tweaks/questions.

Happy cycling mate

You can have photos online for free with www.photobucket.com and link them here. I've used it for all sorts of videos and photos for a year now. How can server owners afford to free space for infinite users?

- I will be considering changing my goal for an Omega to an Enigma.
