Blackpool
 Congratulations to all who entered at Blackpool what a great weekend we had.Started with fun on the coach travel up - quizzes and jokes. Saturday was a hectic day of dancing and competing with well deserved trophies for Simon & Elaine for winning the showcase, 2nd place trophies for Jenny, Matt & Becky for double trouble and 1st place trophy for Martyn and Sharon for winning intermediates, and yours truly Mark winning the Dj competition where you had to send in a cd of 16 tracks for competition dancing which was then used throughout the day. Congratulations also for finalist Simon & Elaine & Simon & Keely in advanced, Lynn & Alex and Sue & partner in final of seniors. The day ended with a celibration in my room which exceeded last year numbers - 36 i think!!! and went on until 5.00 in the morning!!!. Hope to see the bus with more Cardiff people next year as competing or not it is such a good weekend for dancing and fun. Jax xxx |

Many thanks to Jackie for organising yet another trip to Blackpool! The Saturday night party is Jackie's bedroom is fast becoming a legend in it's own pyjamas! Suffice it to say that everyone is still 'jet lagged' and it is now Wednesday! I would like to add my congratulations to Jackie's - in particular, Marty and Sharon who won the Intermediates. The pair of them have worked really hard and were so unlucky in Brighton (thanks to injury) and they have now received the just deserts! Also to Mark Wilson, who received the top DJ award!! So, anyone who is thinking about Blackpool in 2007, make it a date - you won't be disappointed!!! Elaine |
