Dear Cinderella Family:
Late last week I had a rather disturbing telephone call from Clara Kramer, our former North Carolina State Director and close personal friend. She called to tell me that she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and would be undergoing surgery on May 3rd and would begin the treatment prescribed for such cases.
I am writing to you to ask for you to keep Clara, her husband Ron, and their family in your thoughts and prayers. Clara has been a supporter of our program since its beginning in 1976 and enjoyed many years as a successful state director for her state. Of note, is the fact that for several years, Clara presided over the statewide telecast of her yearly State Pageant finals... quite an achievement!
While Breast Cancer has an ever-improving cure rate, there is no cure as certain as the one aided by our prayers and the will of God. I know you all will join me in wishing Clara a full recovery. |
