- Why and where do we have to RSVP?
To RSVP you can do it on our website or if you are member of a “Lifestyle” website you can do it there. Most of the larger swinger’s sites have this event listed and have there own RSVP list. The reason it’s so important to RSVP is that we use these lists for check in at the campground. It is just on of the measures we use to make sure no outsiders camp in our area and if you’re not on the list we have to come to the office and verify that you are who you say you are.

- How do we reserve a camp site?
You don’t, all camp sites are first come first get. The only spots we reserve are the full hook up RV spots and they have all been filled. Don’t worry though; we have plenty of room for everyone who shows up. (Over 2 Acres)
113 visitor(s) thought this was helpful. Do you?
- Are RV’s allowed?
Yes. Our area of the camp ground has five full hook up sites (all are full this year). Once those are full RV’s are welcome in the open field area of the campground. There is no electric or water in that area but generators are welcome and there is plenty of room for everyone. Before you park please come get a host so they can direct you to the right area.

- What time are we starting the group float Saturday?
We are asking everyone to be ready and making there way to the meeting area for the shuttle to the drop off location by 11am. The meeting area will be at the corner of the open field area closest to the bathhouse. We will be making several trips to the drop off location, so please don’t rush, make sure you have all the gear you will need (sunscreen, coolers, ECT…)

That depends on were you get out and the flow of the river. Generally from drop off back to the campground takes about 4 hours, but you can take the river further down another 2 hours or so.

We only have 5 full hook up rv/pop-up sites. These sites go very fast, those who had a site the previous year has first priority. - We will be camping what should we bring?
Besides the normal camping stuff like tent, bed, cooler, ect. The best rule of thumb to go by is if you think you might need it and you have the room to bring it, then BRING IT!
119 visitor(s) thought this was helpful. Do you?
- Can we park where we camp?
No, there is parking all along the open field area so that makes it very easy for people camping in that area. There is a horse shoes shaped drop off for the lower camp sites but there is no parking near the lower area. There is one exception to the parking, if you have a RV then you may stay hooked to the RV or you must park in the parking area.

- How do you plan to keep people out of our area who do not belong?
We have addressed this a couple of different ways. One the campground will have wrist bands all of which will be the same color for our group. We will also have our own KOS wrist bands. The camp ground will advise everyone not in our area that our side is off limits and provide security if someone happens to wonder in.

Yes. There is a bar/game room and a walk up grill in the camp ground. - Can we save spots for friends that are coming later?
Only if you have their tent and set it up for them. This helps us in two ways; one we know how large or small their tent is so that we can maximize the space for other tents. Two if you have their tent they are more likely to show up and you are not holding a spot for someone who never shows up.

- Is nudity allowed in our area of the campground, if so, how much nudity and when and where is it allowed? Will there be a playspace or is up to the individual couples to find a place to play?
During the day in the lower area, please limit the nudity to topless but at night full nudity is ok. I the upper area please keep the nudity reserved for after dark and then to a minimum. As for a play area…it is up to the individual to take any private play to their tent or RV.

- We are wondering what the river policy is on alcohol on the river. Is it bottles only this year? No cans or glass?
There is no change that I can find from past years. The area of the river where our group float takes place is up river from New Braunfels so there new rules do not apply unless you float past our campground. Go to http://www.riversportstubes.com/Guadalupe_and_Comal_River_Rules.html There you will find all the rules for both sides of the river. We will be fallowing the rules in blue.

- Are jello shots allowed on the river?
No open plastic containers of 5 fluid ounces or less are permitted on Comal County rivers (which includes the Guadalupe River). Reference to 5 oz. plastic containers usually refers to "Jello Shots" in 5 oz. or smaller plastic containers. Jello Shots have NOT been outlawed, only containers that are 5 ounces or smaller have been banned. You can still bring your Jello Shots in containers larger that 5 ounces.

- Can we run a small AC if we have a campsite with electricity?
We will no longer be allowing air conditioning units to be run in the lower camping area. The circuits are just can't handle that kind of load, they are wired to power lights and fans. You may use an AC in the upper field area with a generator.
